As of a survey conducted in 2019 among consumers in Italy, it emerged that 41 percent of the respondents wouldn't pay a higher price for products with an environmentally friendly packaging. By contrast, 24 percent declared that they would pay five to ten percent more if the packaging materials were sustainable.
