According to a survey carried out in Chile on March 16 2020, approximately 51 percent of respondents believed the country was little or not prepared to protect the population against the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), which causes the COVID-19. This figure has decreased from a share of nearly 60 percent of respondents ten days earlier. According to the same survey, 52 percent of Chilean respondents were very concerned about getting infected with COVID-19.
