According to a survey about the Chinese public's awareness and reaction to the coronavirus (COVID-19) in February 2020, over half of the respondents who had health conditions before the outbreak still preferred to go to tertiary hospitals in their neighborhood. About 15 percent of the patients would use online platforms for consultation, diagnosis and treatment.
