In Finland, using public broadcast news service (Yleisradio) was most common among the older age groups. The age group of 55 year-olds and older accounted for about half of the total weekly reach, and around 29 percent of them only used offline news content. Public service news were least popular among young people, and the weekly reach of 18 to 24-year-olds remained below ten percent. Using both offline and online media content was common among all age groups, whereas only a small percentage of people relied entirely on online news.
