The majority of respondents, around 69 percent, expected the transportation sharing economy in Japan to grow due to the convenience of the service, according to a survey conducted in June 2019. The survey revealed that only 12 percent of respondents in Japan considered environmental benefits to be the driving force behind a potential growth of transportation sharing services in the country.
