Mexican sales of agave-based beverages to foreign markets attained a value of 43.4 billion Mexican pesos in 2022, an increase of around 24 percent compared to the previous year the previous year. These beverages include traditional drinks such as tequila and mezcal, which have gained worldwide popularity throughout the last years.
