According to a 2019 survey from IPSOS, 39 percent of respondents in the Untied States said that women being represented in government and politics is one of the areas to focus on the most as regards progress towards achieving gender equality over the next 25 years. In comparison, six percent of respondents said that there is no need to achieve gender equality.
Leading areas of progress to achieve gender equality over the next 25 years in the United States in 2019
Respondents were asked to rank the top two or three areas most important to achieving gender equality in their country over the next 25 years. More than one response was possible.
