In a representative survey conducted in 2018 on sexuality in Denmark, seven percent of the total respondents stated to have had at least one sex partner of the same sex. This was the case for eight percent of the Danish women and six percent of the Danish men. The highest share was found among women between 24 and 34 years old. In this age group, 15 percent of the respondents had had sex with another woman. In comparison, only eight percent of the men in the same age group had had sex with another man.
