Berlin provided the most car sharing vehicles that year with 2,430, followed by Hamburg with 1,380 and Munich with 1,200. The term car sharing refers to the shared use of one or more passenger cars. In contrast to conventional car rental services, car sharing allows for the short term rental of vehicles.
