In a survey conducted by Ipsos in 2019, regarding the water supply and sewerage infrastructure in selected countries across the Asia Pacific region, 71 percent of respondents stated that the water supply and sewerage in Australia was very or fairly good. Comparatively, 44 percent of respondents thought that India's water supply and sewerage was either very or fairly good in 2019.
