In a survey conducted by Ipsos in 2019, regarding the level of solar energy infrastructure in selected countries in the Asia Pacific region, 63 percent of respondents stated that China's solar energy infrastructure was either very or fairly good. Contrastingly, just 23 percent of respondents thought the solar energy infrastructure in Japan was very or fairly good.
