The annual evolution of the total amount of e-commerce spending intended for consumers in France in January 2020 is represented in this statistic. Digital music was the sector in which annual spending had grown the most with 25.3 percent, followed by food and care with 25 percent of growth. Compared to the year before, video games and furniture and appliances were the third and fourth categories with the biggest observed growth by more than 18 percent. Only the travel industry saw a 45.5 percent downfall due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
