Number of Japanese residents in the Gold Coast 2013-2018
As of October 2018, more than 11.3 thousand Japanese residents lived in the Gold Coast. The number steadily increased throughout the surveyed period.
The statistic, which is based on the information gathered by Japanese diplomatic missions abroad, does not include descendants of Japanese emigrants (nikkeijin) who do not hold Japanese citizenship. People with multiple citizenship are counted.
