Tennis Europe was founded in 1975 by 17 member nations. The organization has since grown to include its current total of 50 member nations, encompassing all countries of the European continent, and is now the largest regional association of the sport's governing body, the International Tennis Federation.
This statistic presents the gender distribution of professional tennis players, within each of the 50 member nations of Tennis Europe.
There are two countries from which all professional tennis player are male, and there are also two countries from which all professional tennis player are female. Despite this similarity, it can be observed from this statistic that across all 50 European nations, there is a greater proportion of male tennis professionals than females, with only eight countries producing a greater proportion of female professionals than male.

The general managers and/or CEOs of all 50 national tennis federations in Europe are sent an online survey and asked to nominate a member of staff to complete the information, covering all aspects of the organization’s activities.
San Marino, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Ireland, Armenia, Andorra, and Albania have been omitted from this statistic as they did not produce any professional tennis players in 2018.
