Most beloved prefectures in Japan 2020
According to a survey conducted in November 2020, among locals of the 47 prefectures in Japan, Okinawa is the most beloved prefecture, with about 26 percent of residents claiming to cherish their hometown. The survey revealed further that the Japanese capital Tokyo ranked 39th, with only eleven percent of its residents stating to love the metropolis.
