Eating disorder hospital admissions among young people England 2013-2018, by gender

In 2017/18, there were more than two thousand females aged between 10 and 24 years in England who were admitted to hospital with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder, while 190 male admissions for eating disorders also occurred in this age group. For both genders, 2017/18 had the highest amount of hospital admissions for eating disorders in the provided time interval.
