Hospital admissions as due to self-harm among children in England 2017/18, by region
In the period 2017/18, over 276.3 children and adolescents per 100,000 people aged under eighteen years of age were admitted to hospital as a result of self-harm in the South West of England, the region with the highest rate of admissions. The number of hospital admissions for self-harm among young people in the London region amounted to 93.5 admissions per 100,000 population.
