Part V of the Treaty of Versailles deals with the military restrictions placed on Germany following the First World War. In this section, the allied powers placed fixed restrictions on the amount of administrative army headquarters and the respective number of officers and personnel allowed in ecah. In total, the German army was allowed to have just two headquarters, with 180 military personnel per headquarters.
