In 2020, the number of online orders of footwear and apparel in Russia grew by 40 percent compared to the previous corresponding period. Customers spent less per purchase, while the aggregate sales increased by 35 percent over the observed timeframe.

Statistics based on the data of 109 online stores among top 1,000 Russian online retailers with a minimum annual turnover of at least 100 billion Russian rubles. The study included stores selling only clothes and shoes, as well as stores for which this is the main but not the only category and two universal marketplaces - Wildberries.ru and Ozon.ru.
