In 2018, 57.2 percent of respondents found that leftover food was the most common type of dirt found in Singapore food centers. This is followed by used tissue paper at 47.8 percent. According to the survey, hawker centers and coffee shops were the sites where more respondents report encountering dirt. However, as compared to 2017, these were also the sites where the greatest reduction of dirt was noticed.
