During a 2019 survey, it was found that 46 percent of U.S. adults aged 18 to 24 years had bought a used item online. Additionally, 23 percent of respondents from that age group stated that they had also sold a used item through the internet. Popular resale platforms include eBay, eBay classifieds, Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist.
