According to a report on the state of bicycle roads in South Korea, around 32.7 thousand abandoned bicycles were recovered across the country in 2022. This was a decrease of around 3,900 compared to the preceding year. Since 2013, the number of abandoned bicycles that were recovered has more than doubled. The most bicycles were recovered in Seoul, followed by Gyeonggi province.
