Leading fiction book genres read in the Netherlands 2021, by genre
As of February 2021, the majority of readers surveyed in the Netherlands indicated that, among the fiction genres included in the survey, the genre they read most frequently were thriller fiction books. Some 57 percent of readers surveyed indicated that they read or listened to thriller books, while this figure decreased to just three percent with regard to poetry.
