According to a survey on plant-based food consumption in Malaysia by Rakuten Insight, 56 percent of respondents aged 55 years and older stated they believed that plant-based products were healthier. In contrast, 39 percent of respondents from the same age group stated that they chose plant-based foods as they wanted to try a food trend.
