According to a survey on plant-based food consumption in Malaysia by Rakuten Insight, the majority of respondents of all age groups stated that they have consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products. In contrast, 20 percent of those who were aged between 16 to 24 years stated that they have not consumed plant-based food products.
