According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in October 2019, approximately 47.3 percent of 21 to 24 year-old respondents in Taiwan who consumed non-alcoholic beer said they drank non-alcoholic beer last time because they wanted to give it a try. Meanwhile, nearly 54 percent of respondents older than 54 years confirmed this reason.

Among a total of 7,612 survey respondents, 4,775 respondents said they consumed non-alcoholic beer. Among those, 2,833 were female and 1,942 were male.
