According to a survey by Rakuten Insight conducted in February 2024, 77 percent of respondents aged between 45 and 54 years old claimed that they would not eat lab-grown meat. In the same survey, 76 percent of the respondents stated that they have consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products in general.
