According to a survey by Rakuten Insight, as of February 2024, about 91 percent of respondents aged between 25 and 34 years stated that they have consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products. The same survey also revealed that around 86 percent of Vietnamese respondents had consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products.

The survey was conducted among respondents of the following age groups:Â 16-24 years: 1,134 respondents 25-34 years: 1,065 respondents 35-44 years: 705 respondents 45-54 years: 191 respondents 55 and older: 111 respondents
