The number of current accounts at Italian bank UBI Banca increased overall over the last semesters. In fact, after starting at approximately 2.29 million in June 2016, the number of current accounts at UBI Banca reached almost three million in June 2018.
On 10 May 2017, UBI Banca acquired Nuova Banca delle Marche, Nuova Banca dell'Etruria e del Lazio and Nuova Cassa di Risparmio di Chieti, which were merged into UBI Banca.
UBI Banca appeared in a list of leading banks in terms of number of current accounts in Italy.
