In 2018, a survey was conducted among Italian households concerning the behavior toward medical examinations and preventive controls. Most of the families who participated in the survey (74.5 percent) declared that they accessed the same medical checkups and preventive controls as in 2017. By contrast, 15.43 percent said that the medical examinations quantity and/or quality decreased.
