Between 2017 and 2018, the money spent by Italian households for travels and holidays decreased. Indeed, 24.44 percent of the families living in the Center asserted that they reduced the quantity and/or quality of leisure travels, followed by 23.85 percent of those living in the South and 22.72 percent of those in the North-West. However, there was a consistent percentage of Italians who did not use to spend money on holiday travel neither in 2017 nor in 2018.
