Funding of high-tech companies in Israel 2013-2022, by stage

In 2022, 77 percent of the capital invested in the high-tech industry in Israel was in late stage or "growth stage" investments. This was a slight decrease of 12 percent compared to the share in the previous year. The share of investments in early-stage high-tech companies more than doubled compared to the previous year. Until this year, the overall trend has been an increase in the share of growth-stage funding, as the share of early-stage funding has been steadily decreasing.
