In 2022, Brazil had approximately 427 thousand hospital beds, slightly up from nearly 426 thousand beds registered a year prior. Although the number of hospital beds increased in the last years, the figure declined compared to 2010, when the number of hospitalization beds amounted to more than 435 thousand in the South American country. Moreover, the number of hospitals in Brazil added up to around 7.1 thousand in that latest year.
