According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in February 2024, around 77 percent of respondents in China aged between 16 and 24 years said they had consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products. Meanwhile, approximately 67 percent of respondents above 54 years old confirmed this statement.
