The Allahabad Bank in India had a credit to deposit ratio of a approximately 63 percent at the end of fiscal year 2020, down from around 66 percent in fiscal year 2019. The overall CD ratio for Indian public sector banks was at a rate of approximately 68 percent in the fiscal year 2020, indicating a slightly stressful situation for the country's economy. In April 2020, Allahabad Bank was merged into Indian Bank.
