Being able to interact with products in person was the leading reason to do holiday shopping in-store in Canada according to a survey carried out in October 2019 - some 60 percent of respondents chose this as a motive. Not having to pay any shipping costs was another top reason for shopping in brick-and-mortar stores rather than online.
