Share of elderly with internet access in Norway 2014-2018, by device

From 2014 to 2018, the share of elderly Norwegians with internet access on selected digital devices increased. While 74 percent of the elderly owned a computer with internet access in 2014, the number had increased to 83 percent as of 2018. In similar vein, the number of internet users on tablets and smartphones increased from 37 percent each in 2014 to 59 percent and 67 percent in 2018, respectively. Only one percent of the elderly population in Norway did not have internet access via any of the above-mentioned devices as of 2018.
