In 2018, 35.5 percent of young male respondents believed that the draft law against the Revenge Porn was not a social achievement. In addition, the share of female who did not think that the draft law was a social achievement added up to 22.2 percent. The draft on revenge porn provided that the diffusion without permission of sexually explicit videos and pictures was a crime.
The survey was conducted to represent the opinion of the population aged between 18 and 30.
In a survey conducted in 2020, 12.7 percent of Italians stated to know someone who was victim of revenge porn.
