In 2018, 35 percent of Danish women between 23 and 24 years of age had never been screened for cevical cancer. In comparison, this was the case for ten percent of the 25 to 34-year-old respondents. For the older age groups, only a few percent had never underwent a cervical screening.
In Denmark, all women between 23 and 64 years are offered free cervical screenings every three or five years depending on their age.
