In 2018, a survey of European countries revealed that in Malta 67 percent of the population who identify with a religion had had an experience where science disagreed with the teachings of that religion. In Greece, 66 percent of religious people had science disagree with teachings of their religion, while in Czechia on twelve percent reported ever having science contradicting their religious beliefs.
