According to the results of surveys conducted from March to August 2019, 84.5 percent of Mexican mobile users between 18 and 24 years old stated to use WhatsApp through this device. Meanwhile, nearly 60 percent of respondents aged 50 or older said they sent text messages via this platform.

The “Primera Encuesta 2020. Usuarios de Servicios de Telecomunicaciones” contains the results obtained through various surveys carried out in 2019. These include the results of the Primera Encuesta 2019, Segunda Encuesta 2019 and Tercera Encuesta 2019. The Cuarta Encuesta 2019 was excluded since the target audience of the study involved micro, small and medium sized companies.
