According to a survey conducted by Ipsos on the state of happiness, about 43 percent of Indians thought that the time they spend on social media was a source of some happiness for them, while 29 percent of respondents stated that it did not or could not give them happiness. Globally only 42 percent of respondents viewed their time on social media as a source of happiness.
