Japan: most outstanding national art and culture 2023

According to a survey conducted in early 2024 in Japan, 22.1 percent of respondents in Japan believed that anime and manga, as well as traditional Japanese entertainment, such as Kabuki, and Noh should be promoted to the world as the country's main cultural assets. Most respondents considered traditional music and traditional entertainment as important parts of Japan's cultural heritage.
