According to the results of a survey carried out in January and February of 2019 in Chile, generation X respondents were the ones who least agreed with gender equality in soccer, with 78 percent of them saying that women's and men's soccer should receive the same level of attention from the authorities, the press and public opinion. On the other hand, 80 percent of millennial respondents (born between 1983 and 1995) agreed with gender equality in soccer.
