Perception of children contributing to happiness in Japan 2019
Only 31 percent of Japanese respondents stated that their children contribute to some extent to their personal happiness, according to a survey conducted in June 2019 by Ipsos on happiness. Among 28 countries surveyed, Japan showed by far the lowest share of respondents claiming to gain happiness from their children.
