As of 2019, the Swiss retail and wholesale company Coop Genossenschaft had set an internal carbon price of approximately 156.1 U.S. dollars per metric ton. According to the World Bank, the social cost of carbon was reported to amount to some 30 U.S. dollars per metric ton.
