According to a survey conducted among women in Indonesia in March 2019, around 57 percent of respondents said that they were aware of the period-after-opening (PAO) symbol on the packaging of make-up products. Indonesia has one of the world's largest and fastest-growing middle-class, many of whom are increasingly consuming more cosmetic products.
