As of September 2020, the value of venture capital funds raised in Mexico amounted to at least 12 million U.S. dollars, down from 30 million U.S. dollars in the previous year. This figure represents a decrease of nearly 95 percent in comparison to 2014, when the funds raised in the country totaled 231 million dollars.
