According to a 2022 survey by Rakuten Insight on wearable tech, around 56 percent of respondents in Taiwan who were 45 to 54 years stated that they do not see a need for a smartwatch or a fitness tracker. Around 61 percent of respondents who were 55 years and older also stated the same reason.
