For a large number of Dutch, December features not one or two, but three major holidays. On December 5th, the Dutch traditionally celebrate Sinterklaas, or the name day of Saint Nicholas. Primarily a children's feast, nearly half of the respondents stated to celebrate Sinterklaas with adults and children. However, Sinterklaas is not just limited to the young ones: 15 percent of the respondents said to celebrate the holiday with grown up company only.
